Reading through the tips, on in particular struck me and that was Tip#4. Start with the Big Idea, which Geoff states, " Don't think tactically first ("We need to create a viral email campaign"). Instead, concentrate on core marketing objectives and find the Big Idea that will resonate with consumers."
Focusing on the core marketing objective is not only a marketing question, but a an overall business question. What are you doing that is going to want to make someone talk about it to someone else? Where is your differentiation?
