
On The Trump Blog he simply states:
"I've always told people that to be successful you have to enjoy what you're doing and right now I really enjoy what I'm doing. I'm having too much fun with my life. Why would I want to do something else? Why would I want to run for governor?"
Some of the happiest entrepreneurs I know can all track their success and happiness back to saying NO to something that didn't make their heart sings.
If you're an entrepreneur struggling with passion, then take a break. I put forth a mandatory sabbatical program at my previous company. I knew two things were necessary for long-term success: (1) The employees needed to have a stake in the ownership in the company, and (2) I needed to have them passionate about their jobs.
I would love to hear any stories from entrepreneurs that had bad experiences with providing ownership to their employees. I'm sure these stories exist.
