Lex was the founder of Commission Junction and has since been on a path to provide entrepreneurs and executives insights into maintaining a balanced and healthy life. Now here's someone in my mind that has the credibility, because he's been there and been successful.
In his blog post he has an exercise focusing on 10 Questions that will Transform Your Life.
Here are the questions, but go do the exercise. Actually, I was astounded at the question I asked myself.
From Lex's Blog:
- I wonder how I can have all the money I need for everything I want right now?
- I wonder how I can be closer to God?
- I wonder how I can have more fun doing what I’m doing right now?
- I wonder what my body really needs right now?
- I wonder how can I improve myself today?
- I wonder how I can best serve today?
- I wonder how I am contributing to this situation?
- I wonder how I can be more creative today?
- I wonder what I should do next that will bring me great joy?
- I wonder how I can best fulfill my mission?

James, thanks for digging up those great questions. I wish I asked myself more profound questions like that more often. Too often it's, "Should I go with the baking soda-flavored toothpaste with the tartar protection or the mint-flavored one with the extra toothbrush included?"
I think that if the world spent more of its time asking and answering questions like these, we'd waste a lot less of our time.
