There are infinitely more ways to earn a living, and most of them include less stress and more consistent paychecks.
If I had to choose between two steady jobs, one I disliked, and the other I loved… instead, I’d do my own thing, and take the risk, unpredictable income, and all-nighters galore. Yes, the entrepreneur blood pumps through my veins.
Entrepreneurship resonates with me. It’s refreshing to me to look at the options, decide that none of them quite fit, and consequently create a new endeavor. As an author for Biz Impresario, I’ll be writing about everything that encompasses the entrepreneurial lifestyle.
Like most entrepreneurs, this blog is only one of the things I’m currently involved with. I’m also on the founding team of a technology startup, TagJungle, a marketing consultant, part-time grad student at Brigham Young University preparing for the MBA, and the president of a student interfaith organization, The Religion Embassy.
My background is in communications and marketing. I also have a degree in liberal arts from BYU-Idaho, and have been a freelance writer/editor for several years. As for hobbies, I’m a runner, blogger (check out my blog at www.carolynnduncan.com), and proud sister of eight/aunt of five.
There’s a lot of excitement in moving new ideas forward. Being an entrepreneur is the only way I know of to really create the opportunities that I want to be involved in. And that’s why I’m an entrepreneur-- how about you?

Great to have you in the network, Carolynn! A hearty welcome to you. I'm sure you'll do an excellent job on this blog, sharing all that goes into entrepreneurship. Power on!
